The children’s outreach program of Children & Family Services, Inc. in Covington, TN is designed to help develop the minds and skills of young kids. Our nonprofit organization wants more children to experience fun learning and recreational activities to prepare them for the future. Building strong bonds and appropriate relationships between adolescents ages 11 and up in Lauderdale and Tipton Counties. CFS’ Mentoring Program provides a series of prevention and intervention activities with individual and group-based sessions.
The agency provides tutoring and mentoring services to student in elementary, middle, and high school with post-secondary education goals.
Bright Futures Supportive Services (BFSS) - for GIRLS Ages 11-18
BFSS is a pregnancy prevention program for girls ages 11-18 at extreme risks of becoming early parents because of socio-economic conditions, home environment, and peer pressure. This program allows girls to discuss concerns in an open environment, acquiring training and activities such as proper etiquette, conflict resolution, and health and sexuality education in a positive learning setting to eliminate and discourage early pregnancy.
A physical fitness and nutrition education program for clients diagnosed with chronic diseases (diabetes, heart disease, stroke, heart attack, and obesity). We accept walk-in or referrals from local physicians, hospitals, and medical clinics. The program offers nutrition education, fitness, and meal planning to clients.
Community Diabetes Awareness Program
A program designed to promote making a long-term commitment to good health choices. We provide nutrition education, meal planning, self -care, understanding lab results, and physical activities. Clients will become more aware of diabetes management, foot care, and the proper diet suitable for a diabetic. Our interactive activities also include a demonstration kitchen.

Provides short-term counseling sessions and High Impact Prevention Interventions for individuals in rural West Tennessee to decrease and/or eliminate the spread of the virus. The program promotes education and awareness concerning the disease.
HIV Linkage to Care
Assisting individuals with a continuity of health care services available through Ryan White and linking them to those services so they remain healthy.
HIV/AIDS Early Intervention Program
(This Project is funded under an agreement with the Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Division, Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities)
Provides correct and prevention information and education counseling for people in West Tennessee. Provides information and education to high-risk individuals about the virus and disease and encourages behavioral change in an effort to prevent/decrease the spread of HIV/AIDS.
